COLNAGO C-RS

The C-RS is the new entry-level carbon frame from Colnago. Its monocoque design was conceived in full respect of the philosophy gained through over sixty years of experience designing the most successful bikes in the world. It can boast of cutting-edge technical solutions and the latest designs. The C-RS was created to meet the demands of cyclists looking for a high quality product without compromise. Internal cable-routing, and other features, easily stack up aesthetically against higher-end products.

FORK

Monocoque carbon fiber construction, with straight blades, the C-Rs’ fork is light and durable. Colnago was the first to introduce this style of fork almost forty years ago, and now it is standard on almost all racing bikes worldwide.

SEATPOST

Traditional, 27.2mm diameter – lighter than an oversized post, and more comfortable. An integrated seatpost clamp also adds to the frame’s remarkable aesthetic.

BOTTOM BRACKET

Bottom bracket bearings are installed directly into the frame. Thanks to this system, the bottom bracket shell is wider, and can consequently change the design of the down tube – making it wider and stiffer. It also adds to ease of maintenance.

STAYS

Compact seat and chainstays give the C-Rs excellent handling and acceleration – on the flats or uphill. In regards to comfort, they are wider to accommodate the use of tires up to 25mm in width.

INTERNAL CABLE-ROUTING

The latest generation of Colnago bikes offers perfect balance between performance and aesthetics. Internal cable-routing offers a modern look and exceptional performance – with a flow that creates the best connection between the levers and derailleurs.

FRAME DESIGN

The C-RS was designed in order to create a bike that will never disappoint. The geometry shows respect for historic Colnago frames – combining signature comfort with precision handling. The integration of the seatpost clamp is a fine detail that makes this frame soar in comparison with competing products

Road Bike

The term road bicycle is used to describe bicycles built for traveling at speed on paved roads. Some sources use the term to mean racing bicycle. Other sources specifically exclude racing bicycles from the definition, using the term to mean a bicycle of a similar style but built more for endurance and less the fast bursts of speed desired in a racing bicycle; as such, they usually have more gear combinations and fewer hi-tech racing features. Certain of these bicycles have been referred to as 'sportive' bicycles to distinguish them from racing bicycles.

Mountain Bike

A mountain bike or mountain bicycle (abbreviated Mtn Bike, MTB; or ATB, for all-terrain bicycle) is a bicycle designed for off-road cycling. Mountain bikes share similarities with other bikes, but incorporate features designed to enhance durability and performance in rough terrain. These typically include suspension on the frame and fork, large knobby tires, more durable heavy duty wheels, more powerful brakes, and lower gear ratios needed for steep grades with poor traction.

Single Speed Bike

A single-speed bicycle is a type of bicycle with a single gear ratio. These bicycles are without derailleur gears, hub gearing or other methods for varying the gear ratio of the bicycle.
